Well- soon after my second grade pic- with my hair down to the middle of my back- my grandma (Dad's mom) took me to get a haircut and when I say haircut- I mean- ALL of it. My mom was actually in tears. I looked like a boy. She did it without asking. It was like- Shave the back of your neck- kinda cut. 😲 It's never been quite the same LOL

DP, that's crazy stuff! My hair was pretty long too, but my mom said my great-aunt got tired of combing it for school. Whatever! I cried when I trimmed my oldest daughter's hair and she was 7 years old. One of Joe's brothers was at our house and thought I was weird for crying. I can't imagine what your mother was feeling! 😫😠
