After a week of no lost weight on Keto, I've decided to switch it up and today I'm doing a water fast. I'm aiming for three days, but I've got some things to accomplish this week, so I'm not going to push it too hard. So far I'm on hour
20 and feeling fine - a little hungry, but not too bad. I think my body just settles in to any new routine, so after a month of my return to Keto, it's time for a little sneak attack on the routine.

I think a waterfast is or can be keto. The point is to get control of insulin responses. Good luck on your fast

I do a 72 hour fast once in awhile. Just to feel "empty". I have water but also other liquids with little or no calories (diet soda, broth). I find if I start it at noon or 2pm it doesn't seem so long. Good luck with it!

Good luck on your fast! Keep up your electrolytes. Switching up the diet is my favorite way to get the scale moving 💪

I 2nd Fritzy 22, I like to fast a few times a week for 24 , 36 or 48 hours but drink; tea, coffee, water, Zero Sports drink (ensure electrolytes) or salty broth. Try to stay away from the diet sodas, but that's just my preference.. I feel great after a fast I actually feel better after fasting.. Keep up the great work, you'll find what works for you. Plus it helps me keep in Ketosis n kick it up a notch.. I am on week 5 , I am just really starting to feel better, stronger and more results from Keto.

Fritzy 22 - Thanks for the support. I previously lost 80 lbs on keto, but gained some back after an accident. There were always stall, but I never treated them with a fast. This does feel good: I'm now at hour 31 and I'm down 3 lbs. I'll follow you!
