Reading someone else's journal about attending a recent Keto conference inspired some truly absurd thoughts this morning. I wondered if it was as volatile a subject in real life as it seems to be here. I began imagining poster wielding protestors marching at the entrance; coupons for pizza delivery slipped into the programs and the attendee's being splattered with buckets of bread crumbs and donuts. Moving on with my day now. Y'all have a good one.

I think there is a small group of people here who just hate keto, don't know why, maybe keto did something horrible to them when they were children and the have been scarred for life. I think most people here support all forms of healthy weight loss.

Similar to Fatoldlady, I've often wondered what Keto did to hurt some of these people. Did Keto kick your dog? Maybe a love interest ran off with Keto? Was Keto the school yard bully that stole your lunch and hit the hardest when playing slug bug? There is therapy for that. 😂😂😂

I'm like KC - whatever works for anyone is fabulous. I support everyone. There's a conference coming up in Houston. It's $280 for two days. Thinking about it was when the 'riot' thoughts came to mind. I was just amusing myself with ridiculous ideas.

I kept laughing at the 'who hurt you' comment and had a flashback from when I was following cico years ago and someone on here was going thru induction and commenting about being hungry. I innocently suggested 'have an apple' and some member here called me stupid in about 12 different ways. So, some keto folk can be mean too. So, I bet even at the seminar there would be some arguments on clean vs dirty, what's acceptable and what isn't. I could start the day off bringing apples to the panel speakers. 👿 😈
