You have to be pretty fat (or "fluffy") to lose 55 pounds and no one around you notices (I do wear very loose dresses). The only people who know I'm on this journey are my two sons, who both live far away. So today, I had lunch with friends and as soon as I joined them at the table, one of them commented that I have lost weight. And then another also said she had noticed. I think I will count this as an NSV. 🌈🌈🌈

Treat yourself, get some clothes that fit. Thrift stores, Ross, TJMax, etc., are great places to find inexpensive clothes while you continue to lose weight.

I have found that 50 pounds is the spot when people start to say something. Before that they think maybe you have lost weight but don't say anything in case they are wrong. At 50 they are sure enough to compliment!!

55 pounds is a lot! When I was working and lost 40 pounds a few people noticed, but then one day it seemed like everyone noticed. I think people don't really look at you when they see you all the time.
