Ohhhh such a beauty! 🌹Gives me hope. My mom is very sick. Chemo is taking it’s toll. Just got off the phone with her and felt so sad...very hard being so far away. Then I clicked on to fs and saw this surviving rose. Reminded me of a beautiful song a great friend used to sing at church...”Desert Rose.” Ever hear it? Melissa, this picture was posted for me. As for God, His way is perfect!!!
❤️🙏 ✝️ Thank you sweet
one! 🥰

Thank you Fritzy and Rainey! Oh, wifey, I'm so sorry your mom is struggling. When those we love feel weak and are suffering, it is so very hard to stay positive. I do know God cares more about her than you ever can. He is holding her even though you can't give her a hug right now. I don't know that song, but when I look out at my persistent and beautiful rose, I will remember to pray for her and you. ❤️

I'm with you, Phil! I can't wait for summer and warmth, but this is a welcome break from the dark and grey of rain. The snow makes it so bright and cheery!

Thanks najwa and Becc! It isn't unusual for my roses to have a few blooms well into winter. We have such mild temps here typically. I just love it though when we get some snow! I grew up in snow country and miss it so much!! 😁

I love it, Erquiaga! 😁 ❤️Well, dear Chris, you know what it is like around here. The Sound, the airflow from Canada, and the mountains sure make all the difference where snow decides to fall. Erq, our elevation is probably very similar. It all depends on where the cold weather from the north convergence happens with the precipitation. I'm a bit further north than Chris... Sometiems that makes a huge difference.

My wife is not pleased about the snow we didn’t get. Hoping the forecast is wrong and we get some down here.

Sorry, Love2. I'd share with her if I could! We are supposed to freeze up and get a bit more snow over the next days here, but I don't think we will get much... Just enough to mess up the roads. 😁

Thanks Mrsroboto and adultosaur! I do love the white stuff. We so rarely get snow, and I get so tired of the grey, rainy days. It is so bright from all the reflected light. Even though there is no sunshine, is like having a bright, summer day inside... Only cozy!! 😁 😁 😁

Chris, I don't grow anything but my roses. I'm already itching to get them ready for the growing season! It is always strange to me to see anything green in the middle of winter. I've been this side of the mountains for 25 years, and it is still weird to not have a white Christmas! 🙄
