If only we had to work this hard for our snacks! Mr Cat was mighty eager for a treat too. Thankfully our window was between him and this cutie!

i would have let the cat out! :) kidding. but really, squirrels, while fine, are a tremendous pest. we had to build some serious baffles etc. to keep them out. they are smart. my real nemesis are chipmunks - they are so cute - but so destructive.

Hahaha! Thanks, guys, for enjoying my critters with me! It does make me seriously think though. We need some mechanism for dispensing special treats only after we have exercised both our bodies and brains! Wouldn't that work better for our waistlines than just walking to the freezer and hauling out a carton of ice cream! 😁

And, yes, squirrel are pests... But so adorable! I have two "stations" which are "squirrel proof," but this feeder is just for fun! I put cheap seed in it, and have it about three feet from the window. Cat TV!

My grandpa hung a lawn mower wheel with 3 ears of corn on it. They'd whack themselves in the head with corn the first few times. But they're smart and one would hold the wheel while the others ate. Whoever drew the short straw I believe.

I like pistachios and always get the ones in the shell. Whole thing in the mouth, it takes me awhile to pop them open to get the goody. It 'aint' pretty but definitely makes 'em last...lol

busjwanie, your grand dad sounds like a character! 😊 SherryeB, I'd like to have laziness about snacks! ❤️ rckc2000, very clever, but can you swallow upside down?? This is the pressing question! 😁 Thanks all for enjoying my critters with me. May we all snack wisely today!!!!
