This was a place to walk right near the home where we are staying with friends for a few days before moving to another home to stay with friends! 😁 Great place to walk when trying to stay awake! This was after about 30 hours with about 1.5 hours of restless sleep in the plane. Jet lag.... 😢 I'll recover in a few days. 😁  

I didn't even see this so I was wondering how it was going. She's cute! Looks like things are off to a great start! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ What a switch for you to have someone else cooking. ☺️

Oh how I miss Germany and my German family!! I hope you don't mind if I share your pictures with my German mom. She doesn't see very good anymore but I describe them to her and she ends up telling me stories, like maybe based on food or landmarks etc. Have a great time!💜💜

I love it so much too, but I don't have the history of being here like you. It has always been a little bit sad for me to see the pictures when others of my family are here and I am stuck at home. But, you will get back next summer!

Mermee, not an official "exchange" but we have traded daughters back and forth (their two and our three) a total of nine different times! 😁 It started after meeting a young nanny visiting Washington. We met her in 2006, and she spent all her free time with our family. Now she is married with four... We will be staying with her next. Her two sisters visited us for months at a time and then she asked if we would like to have another girl(much younger and closer to the ages of our girls) come.. We have also had many other friends of these families come to visit us over the years. It is a very special connection! ❤️ 

Shir, ❤️ we are walking a LOT! I think I am actually losing a little weight at the moment. It has been easy to skip snacking and just have beautiful meals. We will see how I do in the coming weeks! 😁
