Just joined the national weight control registry today. This month I'm celebrating 3 years of weight maintenance since hitting goal on August 6, 2018. I wanted to join the registry the moment I hit goal, but part of the criteria for joining those studies is having maintained one's weight loss for over a year. I decided to take it the next level and make it a goal to join after maintaining for 3 years.

Especially since the current perception is that it can't be done.

Well, it's 3 years later...

I much prefer how my own narrative worked out as opposed to the prescribed one
