The 6th anniversary of my only sister's passing is ten days from now. I know because today is my grandson's birthday, and he was born ten days before she died. In this cold weather, I have been snuggling up under a blanket of hers that I asked her kids if I could have. It had several holes in it from where her dog had chewed it. I did not patch them, but sewed red seam tape around each one. Makes me feel close to my sissy when I use her blanket.
