my teenaged sons think this looks like cat barf and they are right, but it is so good, I'm literally eating it every day. a ton of calories though so maybe not for everyone...definitely makes my belly happy...

doesn't sound like too many calories to me. if I stick to 3 500 calorie meals per day I'm doing good on keeping my deficit. But going with a slightly smaller breakfast and a slightly larger dinner is usually what I do.

I agree with John -- three meals of 500 calories each is perfect maintenance intake. And your breakfast looks nutritious and filling. The only downside to it may be that a big meal may make a person sleepy afterwards, which is not ideal for breakfast. If that's not the case, more power to you!

JustB and John, I hear you...you are probably right... I have been trying to stick with 1700 calories even though I've already managed to hit my original target weight... I think some folks have lower RDIs cause the option for activity is different from my own. But yeah, not sleepy after that, just happy!! 😁
