I've always found oatmeal just "sticks to the ribs" really well, and I stay full for quite a while. Plus, the soluble fiber is just so good for you

Writingwyo, yes! I've tried a few different breakfast meals and this one works well for me. Meaning, I am not as hungry as soon. A lot of food regulation, in my own personal experience, has to do with timing and activity. I notice I overeat when I am bored... so if I try (a little bit) to time my meals out and do things I like to do, then I don't turn to food for comfort.

For me, it's not bored, it's when I'm exhausted at work in the afternoons, or just anxious about my tasks. At home, I just rest instead of eat, but I don't get that option at the office. I truly believe retirement is going to do a world of good for my physical and mental health. In 509 days I'll retire...not that I'm counting 😜 If you have any sage advice on countering exhausted eating, I'm all ears 👂
