Isn't it funny how plants are related; so the mango is related to poison ivy much like tomatoes are related to nightshade. My Papa, before he passed was very allergic to Mango and poison ivy consequently though I'm allergic to poison ivy, but not to Mango.

Interesting @Leah, I didn’t know mango & poisoning ivy were in the same family 🥭 I am so glad I can eat mango! @Shirl this breakfast looks super good!

I didn't know that about mango & poison ivy! I am very sensitive to poison ivy....I practically break out if I walk past it 😒 I love Mango & eat it often.

Leah, that's because pecans are not really nuts, they're drupes, like peaches. A pecan has a relatively soft outer covering when it is growing, which it sheds when it ripens. True nuts, like chestnuts and acorns, grow with a hard shell as an outer coating.

I know they weren't true nuts but that's interesting to know why they're connected to peaches thank you for the information it's always good to learn and I like to learn. I still believe the plants are weird even if they're wonderous. I do love watching nature shows and finding out cool things about plants/animals it's one of the things I do enjoy. I think it's because I know that I'll never get to go to a lot of these cool places, but one of the great things about living in the modern world is I can watch shows about them. I have the luxury of being able see how they look and the cultures of the people that live there.
