it's difficult to fill empty painful hole in the chest.. I'm very sorry for your loss. time will heal but it's not easy. Keep up! life will go on, just steady. xxx hugs

I'm sure there we all have triggers for sad memories. I know I do. Hugs.  

I have found that still, after almost 20 years, a song, a paragraph in a book, someone I see on the street can still bring me to tears thinking about my Dad. There is no shame in sorrow Mel, your memories of him will be with you always. The sadness diminishes over time, but things that bring back vivid memories will get you every time. 

Grief takes its toll on everyone give yourself time …. Sending u much love 💗💗 

I am sorry for this difficult time for you. I do hope you can find some rays of light in the upcoming days.  

the older I get the more I remember all those who have gone before, or as Alan put it "gone on ahead". I appreciate more and more how they lived their lives and the struggles and worries and joys they had. I also find lots of things trigger sadness.... as simple as turning into my road and remembering Alan no longer there...in fact not anywhere. Still don't really believe it. I feel sad and tearful at strangest moments. and then..... just have to get on with it. might as well try and make the most of it.... you don't get to go round twice!!!
