Found & joined this website because 1) I've been through this weight loss / gain yo-yo so many times I'm confident my family and friends are weary of hearing me discuss it and 2) I want to find like minded people struggling with weight & health issues too.
I'm frustrated today because I actually wrote the wrong weight on joining - I put my weight when I started my latest 'eat healthy, lose weight and everything will be better' adventure on 8/25. And while I feel I'm doing well in making healthier choices with food and finding ways to redirect my weaker areas, the bathroom scale sent me over the edge today. And Yes, I know it can't be all about a number but it's frustrating to note an 8lb increase in 48 hours. I'm trying to rationalize it every way possible with 'water gain' or 'maybe your PMS' or 'maybe it's muscle weight' but I know the latter is a huge stretch because I haven't increased my physical activity enough to justify that much muscle.
Anyway - I'm sure 'journal entry' isn't suppose to be 'life story' or I'd have very little to record going forward. I'm going to go look at some challenges and read other journals now.
