Diario de FullaBella, 04 jul. 19

Tuna mixed with capers, mayo and horseradish. Tomato, avocado and egg of course. 528 calories, 8 net carbs, 39 grams fat, 32 grams protein displayed and recorded. I may or may not adjust my diary later. Lunch is a rarity for me. My blood sugar dropped but instead of just grabbing a beef stick today I decided to make a meal. I got so involved in trying to fan the avocado that I lost my appetite so I ate less than half. Sigh.. Dinner later?

Canned tuna is a good source of essential nutrients, such as omega-3 fatty acids, high quality protein, selenium and Vitamin D. Most tuna species have approximately 2 grams of fat per 113 gram portion and less than 45 milligrams of cholesterol and sodium. Tuna also provides an important dietary source of the long-chain omega-3 fatty acids needed for good heart health, brain function and normal growth and development.

Well, once I added mine up it was anything but light. On an unrelated note (sort of) thinking about saving for calories I was thinking last night I'm gong to have some pizza, pasta or enchiladas at least once this month. Just to see if I still enjoy the taste and if my blood sugar will tolerate it. Maybe, LOL. I just try to plan for one thing off plan a couple of times a month so that I don't feel too compulsive.

KC, Becc & Bill- thank you. I did in fact finish it that day, eventually. I'm having to ration my horseradish because there isn't any root available at any of our local grocers. I'm starting to worry about withdrawal.
