I see it❣️ I’ve been asking around for years, I was told some Greek Orthodox Church may sell it. All my searches lead to dinner rolls with poppyseed. Thank you, katsolo❣️  

For some, yes. But for us old kids who refuse to grow up, it's no big deal. 😘

That's probably the greek church (St. Spiridon's) on Park Blvd, and I'd think they'd only have it during Greek fest which is in June/July. I lived two blocks from there for years. you might also check Milton's Deli in Del Mar or the bakery I want to say is Shakespeare's Bakery, but that's not quite the right name, it's up in Leucadia... and Edelweiss. there's also a place in Pt Loma I think is Sewdish. funny thing, despite knowing about all these places, I don't eat that many baked goods. Really, but I did have to know all the good places for work events. that said, I'm gonna buy some treats for the BF this year since I'm thinking about it ahead of time.  

I think that was the church that was mentioned and it was a once or twice a year thing. I haven’t seen it at Milton’s and European cake gallery carries it sometimes. I need to talk food to you more, katsolo❣️ 

LOL, @ Moopie, I do seem to get around on the food, it seems. I think it's because I want exceptional rather than ordinary if I'm going to stray. Like a gorgeous pavlova at Extraordinary Desserts vs. a grocery store cake. I will let you know when Buona Forchetta's breakfast bakery opens in South Park. They've been having the hardest time with the City, but Mateo knows his baked goods and they are exceptional. I've already decided that I can indulge if I walk there and back as part of the deal.  

Yes❣️If I’m paying for food outside I want it to taste better and be better than what I can make at home... otherwise I feel like I wasted an opportunity to eat something 😋 I’m a 🐽.  

That is exactly how I approach it, too! Things I cannot make myself. Or won't because I'm too lazy.
