I cut out artificial sugar on Friday, three days ago and the scale started moving down again. When I crave something sweet I'll eat a small bite of it. I also started eating one or two strawberries because I was seriously craving it.

Line of the week, you don't tell an alcoholic to drink in moderation, just as you don't tell a sugar addict to eat in moderation.

Just like we're all individuals our bodies handle and have sensitivities to what we eat individually. It's great that you've found out how your body handles sugar, now you can plan and eat more appropriately. I have to be careful about sugar and refined carbs also, they used to be way too heavy a portion in my diet.

for sure, the consequences aren't immediate either. It takes a few days to see how they affect me too. No more atkins bars and sugar free jello.
