I love wild roses, encountered them often in Alaska. Lovely that you got in a 10 mile walk today. Thanks for sharing! 🌹💓🌹💓🌹

How pretty! I am up to 11 minutes for my walk. My physical therapist said to add a minute a day to figure out at what point I start getting leg pain. Can't imagine walking 10 miles right now! But maybe some day.

Ok I was given a plant of roses years ago. Romeo roses or something like that. Anyway they kind of look like those. Mine is no where near that big.

Thanks everybody!!! Spring and early summer provide the best wildflowers here! Chris... Dear, get out of the gym and into the wild! They are blooming everywhere around here right now. This was along the Sammamish River, so you know exactly where. This wasn't one bush. There are dozens and dozens and banks of roses ten ft high and about 20 ft long or more. You know how our blackberries grow? Yeah... These roses do the same!

Shir, I havent been to Alaska but they are the provincial flower of Alberta, so my first memories of flowers on the prairie were these! Yes, aren't they wonderful, Liv?! They must be a slightly different variety here. They don't have to endure the harsh winters like up north, but they are perfectly wonderful just the same!

Fritzy, I am sorry you are having troubles with pain, but little by little you are making some progress it seems! Thanks, John! Bear, you could do it! Come visit and we will go for it. No need to go fast. We were built to walk! This area is very flat along the river. All you have to do is lift a foot and it just naturally swings forward... Then repeat about 20,000 times! Plus if we were talking you Wouldn't even notice the time going by! So much to see on the river and the birds overhead and in the trees and flowers and critters (not creepy but otters, squirrels, muskrat, rabbits)! It is perfect! ❤️😘

Thanks, wifey! Erquiaga, we are very blessed with beautiful places. It is hard to live in a cloud so many months of the year. That is the difficult part. But, without the rain we wouldnt have the green. I just wish it would rain a bunch and then have clear skies. But, instead it is just gray skies week after week after month. That is rough for me. We have only had a few days in the high 60s so far this year. I am so ready for dry and warm and sunny days!
