Yesterday was a crazy day. Got my new fridge and while I was loading it I found it totally would not work. We got this as my husband fell in love with the French door fridge style and we thought it would have more freezer space. Totally wrong, I had to throw out a lot of old stuff out of the freezer and definitely did not have enough room. I totally freaked having to tell my husband it had to go.

I was stressed to the max. Fortunately he took it better than I expected. We ran out to lowes and looked at a replacement and arraigned for the return.

Saturday will be another fun day.

Sorry the new frig didn't work out but glad you found a different one you like - at least by Sunday it will be all over with and your food will have a nice new home!

Had several French door refrigerators, hated them. I have a French door on the top refrigerator part, a middle drawer that can be adjusted to a variety of temperatures, and the freezer on the bottom with a slide out shelf. Love it!

Yeah those French door types are so nice, look so practical. But have no room! Can’t even get a frozen pizza in most of them. The bottom freezer seems to be the best!

That is exactly the type I am returning Erquiaga, I hate it. The shelves are not adjustable and the bottom freezer is not big enough for me. no ice bucket and I am getting my replacement this morning. side by side one cubic ft bigger than my last one. almost an exact match. I could not believe how much old food I tossed that would not fit in the new one from my old smaller side by side. Both the new fridges are 28.5 but the freezer on the side by side is bigger by a foot. It does make a difference

I love the side by side Dawnie but the pizza thing is true, the big ones won't fit. Which really is not a problem for me as we don't use them. I keep the smaller ones in the freezer though for a quick fix for hubby
