I wasn’t expecting a loss. I started my cycle yesterday. Also ate almost 2000 calories 😃😍 I am very dehydrated though. I wonder what my boss would think about me wearing a hydration pack to work 🤔🤔🤔😜

@CrashtestDawnie - Great job! Your carbs are still 'low' so perhaps you will continue to lose weight if you have 2k calories but keep your carbs low? - - However, for me, a calorie 'surplus' (2500 calories+) will cause a weight gain no matter how low my carbs are...

Very happy about the loss 👍 And it will be interesting to see exactly how much and of what my body can use up without gaining. I haven’t worked out this week. But I run around in curcles for 9 hours a day. I don’t know how many calories I burn doing that but in the past, it wasn’t enough. It seems, to be enough now though which is great!

Adef it is just so crazy to me that you run 5 miles a day and can’t eat over 2500 calories.

@CrashtestDawnie - I *can* eat 2500 calories... I just can't 'lose weight' at 2500 calories. - - 'Slower metabolism' is a real thing :) - - A 'slower' metabolism is not a bad thing. I'm 50 and my 'body' has not 'aged' that much (bones are good, skin is tight, ect). Barring an accident, I can live into my late 90's like my great grandmother :) - - Anyway, this is why I always encourage people to look at their *own numbers

@CrashtestDawnie - I think it is really important to look at your 'two week running' numbers to decide what is working or not. I do that to factor out 'water fluctuations'. I have never had a 'water phase' last more than 1 week. I either gain water or flush water in roughly a week. Anything that lasts longer than that is 'actual fat' (gained or lost).

You're doing great! Slow and steady, my friend! The 140's are waiting for you! You got this!
