Diario de Nikina70, 03 ene. 20

Time to face the music. I'm not too bothered with my weight this morning and I'm sure it will go down some before next week's weigh-in. I also feel fine with what I see in the mirror with the usual suspects of my muffin top and flabby arms, but I'm working on those and I'm grateful to still be able to move and lift. Had a bit of a twinge in one shoulder in early December, which had me quite sore for a day and would rather avoid that if possible.

Will get back to calorie cycling next week meaning I'll try to stick to around 1400 calories for the week days allowing some more for the weekend and ending with a daily average of 1680 calories. I did manage the 8 hours of exercise I was aiming for in December and then did a half hour workout yesterday. Don't have a specific workout goal this month - just want to keep moving 2-3 times a week and will do workouts that interest me and not concentrating on how long they are. Will also keep up the daily walks - yesterday we took our little dog along and I'm generally clocking up 2500 to 3500 steps each time so that's fine for now.

I took some selfies over December as suggested by chrisw77 and will take one again on the 30th of March to compare. Not sure if I'll share. April will be too hectic with family visiting and lots of eating out so the 30th of April I think would be too far gone so I'll see how much progress I can make in 3 months. Basically just want to lose some centimeters in my mid-section and get my arms looking more toned so will keep an eye on protein intake too and adjust as I go.

Sometimes fitness goals click into place as we do it. You met your December goal, and walking a pup is awesome. You are doing great. :0)
