I got my second shot on Thursday. The first place I am going is Wal Mart to stock up on non food household supplies like TP, soaps, cleaners and stuff. Dropped Amazon because I figured the delivery drivers had more important things to do than bring me household supplies. I have been doing one stop shopping and picking them up at the grocery store and still have sticker shock ! How non exciting my life has become. LOL

I've had both my shots too. I'm still following CDC guidelines and will continue to do for the near future. I waiting until new cases and hospital admissions begin to decline again...

I'm excited also with having my second vaccination. Yes, I will be out about the same with mask and sanitizer but with a smile on my face under my mask.

I heard on the news shots last 6 to 8 months. I like the year better.
So if we are still having people getting sick. They’d better have an answer for us!
From what I understand, vaccinated people can still get the virus just not as bad and no hospital or dying from it. I hope that’s right!
At any rate, congratulations to all having gotten or is getting the shots. We are champions. 🏆

Congrats! It takes 2 weeks for your body to make the protective antibodies so you won't have the full effect for another 2 weeks, and no vaccine is 100% effective which is why the health departments still emphasize following current guidelines (and also why some people still contract covid despite being vaccinated) but yay! Good job! You should be proud! =)

Oh we are the most careful people I know! My friend wants me to spend the day shop and eat in another county. I have been holding off. She had COVID in January. Anyway she hasn’t answered my text. Think she’s mad at me. I babysit my grandbabies. Want to be safe for them. If I loose her friendship for staying in. I’m so sad. But I don’t want my unvaccinated family to get COVID.
