Saturday work is not ever very fun. The shop is super busy, I always have to work with "The Jerk", and my family is more likely to be around at home having a good time. Most of them don't work on Saturday, and I feel like I am missing out on the good times when they are relaxing. But, I am thankful for my job, so off I go. For those of you who are my real friends and constant supporters via the little green hearts or pm or comments, I thank you so much. I am feeling much more in control of my eating, and this has helped me feel more optomistic and cheerful. I feel terrible about not spending the time to scroll here or go individually to see and support and comment on the journals of folks I follow. I know I am being lame and not supportive. The only reason I can give is that I feel some days that I am barely hanging on with all I have to do. The demands on my time never seem to ease. Someday things will be calmer and I will be myself again. Right now, these flower posts and a weight updates are about all I can do. Thank you for being here!

I worked Retail Mgt. for 30 years. Although, I sometimes didn't like working on Saturdays cause my family & later husband was at home, I loved that it was usually busy. Made the day go faster & it was all about the goals 💲💲💲 I also often saw repeat customers...that was nice. I am happy you are finding a minute or 2 to check in. Love your pics you share. Don't worry about not supporting enough. All of us that know you understand your busy life. I'm just so pleased to see you get back at taking care of you. ❤

I agree with everyone. You do not need to explain or apologize for a thing Melissa. Friends understand and just wait til things settle. You are doing a much better job than I would juggling all you do. I only pray for better days. I know they’ll come, I just can’t tell you when. Stay the course and continue to take time for yourself. 💝💝💝

Thank you for your kind words, Breezy! It is a critical balance to do what I think I must and also have room in life to do what is healthy physically and emotionally for me. Tom, thank you for all of your support and encouragement for all these years. I actually feel so much better in some ways the last few days. We have managed to reach some kind of new normal with all the people in the house, and things are going more smoothy!

Sherry, my day went OK. Since I work in a specialty hobby type shop, I spend my days educating as much as selling. My main job is teaching, which gets super tiring when I'm already a bit burned out. But, it is so much fun to have folks come back week after week looking for me to help them more or show me pictures and tell me how pleased they are with the habitat they have created for critters and birds. It is fun and satisfying and a way sometimes to escape thinking about life and my stresses! I am sure you understand! And thank you for your support. I used to be so faithful to connect with my people here. It is just harder right now and I appreciate so much folks who don't forget me and help me keep going!

Princess! We have much to catch up with and I'll email or we can call soon! Yes, boss had his last day yesterday. I about cried, but since I have made him family, I won't lose him! He is currently sitting at my table playing games with my youths. He didn't have friends because he moved here during covid, and it was really hard to connect. He fit right into my world with my "kids" because he is basically a kid too and such a nice lad! Enjoy your walks!
