Congrats, JB. 👍 You put a lot of hard work into that. The food quality helps so much -- at least it does for me

@Wyo: we weigh the same now!😃 Keeping the diet carb-centered with fresh fruit and salads definitely keeps me alert and energetic for walks and workouts (I think if I ate heavier meals during daylight hours that l’d be more interested in napping than going to Pilates class). But this plateau busting is also due to increased activity as of late.

Wow congratulations! That is a huge drop at your weight. You are why I am trying to get as close to WFPB as I can be without having separate meals from my wife.

@Russell: the easiest way to include the spouse in a WFPB diet is to bring home produce from the grocers or Farmer's Market, then cook it together. Chopping veggies for a salad or to roast in the oven or stirfry can be a couple's activity. Lots of vegetarian/vegan websites and cookbooks have easy recipes to try, and most of them you can just add chicken or fish to for extra protein. Putting out a fruit bowl on the kitchen counter or dining table encourages healthy snacking and grab & go food (to keep you from hitting drive thrus while out driving). But separate meals are fine, too -- I've been vegetarian since 16, so I'm used to eating the sides while others include a more processed meat dish.

Inspirational 💚

@Manatee: Will definitely be more looks this summer than I got this morning, in my 3 layers, puffy coat, and gloves 😄 @Diana: I suffered from Plateau, too, so I feel ya. With me being an inch shorter than you, and needing to be "ideally" at 125 lbs., this would be the equivalent of you weighing 133. So you can see my urgency in trying to wrestle this weight down ASAP! Once you've been trim & fit, you know how it becomes a quest to keep that body. I increased my cardio and walking this week.
