Got home last night from spending a week with my Mom. She is out of rehab, but can't walk alone, so needs someone with her all the time. My brother and sister that live near her have had the total responsibility because of all the issues in my life. So I finally got to take my turn with her. It went pretty well, but I sure don't like being the parent to my parent! She wants to get better, but doesn't want to do the work to get there. Very frustrating.I will go back in 2 weeks. Hubby is doing better very slowly. Still limps badly, but no pain so grateful for that. My doctor increased my antidepressant and that seems to be helping with the debilitating grief I was experiencing over losing my beloved sister. When I went to the doctor my tests showed my hemoglobin was really low, so I have gone to the hospital once a week for iron infusion. Had the last one yesterday, I'm supposed to have lots more energy. I'm still waiting!! I went to a Women's Day this morning and the speakers were very good. It was nice to spend the morning with my sisters in Christ. I had dessert....I'm so weak! No wonder I'm up 2 more pounds.
