Diario de Asarver, 28 jul. 23

I haven't weighed in for awhile on here, during hard training I eat more so I don't feel dead and so I didn't want to log it. 😂 It's post race now so we're coming back down. Next big race isn't until late October, so I'll be better about what I'm eating until I start fueling for energy again.

Any fun plans this weekend??

☺️☺️ My big race is a half marathon on turkey day and my A goal as of right now is 2:10:00, B goal is 2:15:00 and C goal is just getting there without injuries. My ultimate goal is 1:59:59 hrs on the one I run every year in Feb 😬😬

The one in October is a 10 miler as sort of a race tune up, so I'm not sure a food goal for that one yet. Under 1:40 for sure though if I want to be on track for the 2:10 half

Tim, I don't think they're known for being remarkably hilly, but Atlanta certainly has its hills. 🫣 It's more arch pain than heel pain at this point 😔

Otb, my eating training is going great. Oh wait, you mean running? 😜 It's too humid and I can't wait for cooler weather. I might be doing another tri in Sept though.... Definitely addicted to that now! How's yours going??

Yeah my eating game has been similar it sounds like lol trying to get ready for the big one balancing the running and lifting and work has been challenging

Right exactly!! Next race is in 32 days at Killington ski resort in Vermont 21k 🤪 my goal is to do it under 6 hours

No skiing but that would be an awesome addition to it. There wont be snow just 13 plus miles of up and down the Ski resort 7000 plus vertical... i will be dead to the world when I finish 🤪

MattRide yes 13+ miles of insane terrain and 30 + obstacles including having to swim out to the middle of a pond climb up a rope ladder hanging down from a bridge then swing like Tarzan from rope to rope underneath the bridge then jump back down and swim to shore 😀 can't wait lol my goal is under 6 hours that sounds like a long time but it will take a lot of people over 12 hours to complete and they will be cutting people off for not finishing in time

Otb~That sounds rough ! I was doing 100-150 miles bike ride event before but spartan probably too ‘dirty’ for me 😅 but I seriously admire all the gladiators 💪🏽
