I know, in the beginning I had these great 5-6 pound drops every week, after two months that dried up and the slow .02-1.4 pound a week losses began and it's excruciating because you try to hard and it seems like such a small reward. Go buy a pound of pig fat from a butcher, put it in a gallon ziplock bag and freeze it, pull it out and look at it every time you think that losing a pound is not an awesome achievement. Remember, we did not gain it overnight, we will not lose it overnight either. Now, when I start whining and crying because my scale is not showing me what I want to see.....remind me of these nuggets of wisdom will you please????? I can tell it like it's gospel to others, harder to make a believer out of myself :)

AMAZING SUGGESTION that pig fat thing. I think I am going to do that this weekend. That is ONE HELL of a potent reminder.
