Yesterday I registered 1400 cals was my lowest calorie day since I started. 500 cals of that (88g of cheese and 30g of walnuts) was for supper - I was not hungry but I didn't want to upset my metabolism . This morning I also totted up my alcohol metrics as I have been making efforts in this direction as well as diet . In the last week I have managed to reduce intake to 14 units. Frankly I was shocked that I managed this one because I like a beer or three - 70 units a week was not a struggle for me.
Slept very well last night and I am going for a birding walk this morning.

Great result and fantastic news about your alcohol intake. I have to laugh when people look incredulous at people who top 50 units a week as it's really not that difficult to do. I'm not proud of the fact, it's just fact. I've managed to cut mine back a lot too which is helping.

Great loss. The new drink drive regs in Scotland have certainly cut my alcohol intake. Mind you, I did have an Old Pulteney last night - since I am not driving after my surgery.
