Yesterday my new waterproof top was well tested on a walk along the river at Wallingford.
Today I am going to the annual bird fair at Rutland with a few mates - A day seeing all things birdy.
My wife has made muffins for us. Indulgent indeed !
Treated myself to 2x home made Marmalade on toast for breakfast.

The waterproof worked very well was a paramo smock type pack away. I managed only to spend £15 on a light fleece and got given a free replacement part for an eyepiece that I had damaged on my spotting scope. A good day out. It did make me realise that a month ago I messed up and bought some quite expensive waterproof hiking trousers that should have been a size smaller.
