Still under last set weight...this was a relatively easy month for me (for sure not all go this way) with a really low low seen a few weeks ago.

My goal over the next few months is to pick up some muscle without adding any fat (much easier said than done) specifically my legs which are still quite a bit smaller (and weaker) than they were at the end of last ski season...even in early July they were still really bad @ss strong and in good shape...set a new PB on July 12th for sustained wattage versus time.

My first ski day was Nov 19th and it nuked my quads...I was really suffering for over a week. Second ski day was a few days ago on Nov 30th, much better day, more vertical, legs handled the day pretty well, big bonus - this was a huge calorie burn day for me at 4223 cal.

Here is a great question we all search for; "What is the #1 Habit You Should Have to Lose Weight?" The answer may or may not suprise you and is found here at Fat Secret in spades....Community!! Finding people to share your journey!! To be fair I read this on another weight logging site but it is as true there as it is here (reference MyFitnessPal);

"Finding your own triggers are hard. Seeing other people’s is easy. Remembering to tell yourself, “Great job!” is hard. Remembering to tell other people is easy. Figuring out how to work new foods, new activities, and new steps into your own life is hard. Watching and learning from a whole bunch of other people like you who are trying to get to the same place you are is just so much easier!"

Also, for my buddy Ches I did a little experiment; I logged all of November twice, each and every day, meal and snack on FS and on MFP...and yes there were many times I was wondering if the end justified the means. Results were...interesting.

Hope everyone has a great time with family, friends and loved ones this coming Christmas and Holiday season, please never take them for granted...life is short, make it count.

Take care, from the frozen north,
Steven

It amazes me how our bodies respond to food, sleep and activity. You have a very keen awareness of your physical condition. Enjoy the holidays and this ski season. Thanks for all you do for us...
