Go to such restaurants with your heavy friends, usually keeps me in check. Or better yet, go with my skinny husband (174# and still 6'2") since I started this WOE. That alone keeps me in check. Why do the skinny guys get skinnier? NOT FAIR!

You should have seen the waitress' face, at the last Mexican place I went to eat, when I said, "No chips and salsa, please." She looked at me like: "Why did you come to a Mexican place, if you're not going to have chips and salsa?" It was funny. But, if they are not on the table, I can't eat them.

Radish "chips" and salsa are almost as good.

Zuccini chips are terrific. Slice thin, brush with a little olive oil, nut until crispy. I was surprised that it really worked. Must be eaten right away, time consuming, not for a crowd— but JUST FOR YOU well worth the effort. Works great for potatoes too.

We ended up at a Mexican restaurant just after I'd decided to start recording at FS again. I had already pep talked myself "it's just chips & salsa, you've had it a zillion times, nothing new, skip it" then they brought the chips with not just one salsa but FOUR different salsa's. I shook my head and laughed at Karma. So I'd take one chip and break it into very small pieces to taste each salsa. Same effect, less chips. I survived. Whew.

It is seriously one of the greatest challenges of my WOE. I usually fail miserably haha. But it seems endless, the amount that one can consume!! ...I miss all things corn.
