Happy birthday to your non-sweet tooth 24 year old daughter! 🎁 This is how we make and eat our cinnamon rolls too. They look delicious. 😋 

Oh my gosh! My kids love caramel pecan rolls! I have to make them without pecans because the youngest is 13 months and has 2 teeth haha. I’m forever grateful my kids aren’t huge into candy/sweets. They love fruits and popsicles. I have suckers I used for potty training my 3 year old and he never wants them, same with the bowl of candy we have from a piñata for my 13 month olds birthday in dec. I think I might just throw it out or save it for when my parents and siblings visit because they’ll eat it 😂 Anyway! You give me hope that my kids won’t like sweets that much! I’m proud that my three year old asks for water over pop when we go out to eat (which is when he is only allowed pop). 

I grew up in Michigan where we drank pop. Now in South Carolina, we have a drink or a cocola--what kind do you want? Funny. 

You don’t remember Chris! Not vanilla pudding. No way!!!! Custard, and the Canadian custard at that!!! 😜 

I've been so busy I can't answer everyone, but a few folks I just have to talk to! 😁 arrowhein, I as trying so hard to be perfect mom and restrict the tooth rotting stuff. By the time the third came along I gave up and by the fifth... Forget it! Well, we ate healthy food, but for sure we had treats although not even weekly. I do think it must have made a difference for the first though because she is the only one of the tribe to not have a sweet tooth! 😁  

Rebecca_Brady, I'm significantly impressed! Good going! I love yummy stuff and I've taught my kids to eat moderately, but it is nicer to just not have a taste for things that are super easy to eat too much. But I do dearly love a cinnamon roll! Love that you can lose weight eating them too! 😁 ❤️  

Chris, I lift! I can handle the pressure! 😁 And, I'm not sure it is really a proper custard... Well not the kind I've made or had. Although you use the custard powder, it is more like a stabilizer for the pounds of butter! 😁

Oh, adultosaur, dear. Nanimo bars are a traditional square pretty popular in Canada. No idea why they have the same name as the city. And, I am so jealous you've been bungee jumping! 😁

Chris, you are a nut! But now too have to have that in my brain... Adding to it imagining those little arms trying to reach for a nanimo bar...yet bouncing just out of reach ! 😁 Now that would be a reason to holler!  

And having more time now... Thank you Erquiaga! It is funny, I do for sure think tastes can change over time! Thank you, wholefoodnut! RgaDawg, in would so happily share some with you! Keyten, my family said these were the best I had made... I've made a lot, so that was fun! I normally use a big cookie sheet and they are more spread out. Guess crowding them together worked!

Dearest, keyten... If I could only learn cooking from you. And, basically, I'm the simplest of bakers. Just bead related stuff, which isn't hard. Erquiaga knows how to make some Italian bread I would love to figure out how to make! Still remembering seeing her beautiful rolls!

Beautiful! Homemade I'm guessing, considering what a great cook you are. I'd have to have a small bowl of cream cheese frosting 'somewhere' but then again, this DOES make it easier to taste the cinnamon better. GREAT choice!
