Thanks for sharing those beautiful photos and for the update on your daughter, Melissa. I wish her a successful surgery tomorrow and a speedy recovery.  

She is goreous! Glad to hear she is doing better🌞 

She looks so radiant!!! That is a good photo. Very hard to get good photos of inter racial couples. My daughter's boyfriend had dark skin and sometimes it is funny to guess who get under or over exposed. Happy to hear she is doing better. And Lovely roses!!!! 

Beautiful flowers (as always) and a beautiful couple! Praying for a successful procedure and her continued recovery. 

Thank you all so much. I think she will be more comfortable in some ways once the glass is removed, but then she will have more stitches. Blah! I wish her head would feel better, but it was worse before by far, so progress is good. Your kind comments help so much. Last night I was reading to her all the beautiful and supportive things people have said. During these hard days, she (we) have been so blessed by the love of strangers making this world seem like a much more wonderful place. I tell her little bits I know about you. "This is the girl from Spain, here is the message from a beautiful girl from Slovenia, this is the girl.... Remember the one with the beautiful sweater I showed you her husband got her, this lady is Canadian and has a daughter whom she talks about and is just moving, this lady is praying for you yet is suffering right now so much herself...." And on and on... You are REAL to me and have provided real comfort for her. Thank you! ❤️  

Just thinking about it, I am surprised by all the little bits I've picked up from your lives. Who you are seems somehow far more important than your color line or how fit or heavy you are. We have spent so much time talking about "my people" here. She knows the man with for little kids (she loved the new pictures). There is someone here who comments always so helpfully and kindly yet is so private I can't follow... Yes, Ireland, that is you! She knows about little twin girls in a tower with a tired, beautiful mama. It must seem nuts to some people, but FS "family" really seems true to me this week. 

Yes, liv! It is hard to get a good picture especially because he is a foot taller than her! 😁 He is so very dear and has been a wonderful friend to all of us for so long. He nearly fell apart when I had to call him to say she was being taken to the emergency room. We were all frantic because of her previous head injury. She was on her way to meet him when she had the accident. He waited outside the hospital for half a day waiting for us to come out and has been with here as much as possible since.

How's she doing today? 

Tambro, thank you so much! Katsolo, it has been a rough day, but it is almost done! Thank you for asking. She had surgery on her had today, which turned out to be a bigger deal than I thought. They knocked her out rather than a local. She has some nerve damage and will probably need occupational therapy once it heals up in order to gain full use. but... She is home and feeling better. Her head feels worse than her hand at the moment, but hopefully both will ease as the night goes on. Seeing her hurting, confused and upset is pretty hard, but she is thinking fine since the anesthesia wore off completely.. I'm very ready for her to be feeling better! 😁
