Woke at 210.4, up 6.6 from yesterday after a big BBQ dinner out last night that has me still full and heavily retaining water! Warrior fasting is in effect. Will eat at dinnertime. UPDATE: Doctor’s appointment this morning went very well. Don’t have to go back for 3 weeks. Fasted until 3:30 and had some celery with peanut butter and cream cheese. Then finished work, took a nap, and rose to have a bite of dinner at 8. Did some amazing Brussels sprouts in olive oil, and a few bites of some nice cheeses. Ate just under 1200 calories (including a bit of Halo Top). Only got 2.25 miles in today as I napped instead of walked! But pre-bed weigh in was exactly the same as last night! Just going to keep doing what I’ve been doing and this recent 8-10 pounds of water should go away.

I love your focus, oh and your new bio pic. Superman indeed. This is never easy but you make it look easy. I admire how well you're doing, both with the diet and the other challenges in your life. :)

I agree with Issy! You are our super hero! You keep me going, you know! By the way, did you roast your Brussels Sprouts? I have been eating mine this way and just love them! I was splitting them in half and cutting out the core but don't bother any more ... just pop them in a baggy with olive oil and salt and pepper and into the oven they go! They look a bit burned but aren't.

Well, that sounds like another great way to cook them. My instructions said to turn them halfway through cooking but I didn't bother. LOL! I was reading what I wrote up there ... when I said I popped all the ingredients into a baggy ... I should have said that I shook them around until the Brussels Sprouts were coated well, then poured them out of the bag onto parchment paper. I think they roasted about 45 minutes. It is so easy. No fuss, no mess. LOL!
