Woke at 215.0, up 4.6 from yesterday. Obviously, the delicious dinner out yesterday (combined with a full calorie load for breakfast and lunch) hurt me in terms of water retention. To be honest, the chicken wings probably had significant sugar in them. Official weekly weigh-in was my 209.8 from Saturday which is up a few as well. I have business dinner/happy hour events on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, so this week will continue to be a challenge! May go OMAD on those days, but we will see how it goes. This is a 5:2 IF day, but I'm going to be targeting 955 calories on my two IF days. The experiment continues... UPDATE: Was hungry every few hours today despite eating a lot of protein and fat. Going to work tomorrow so will be away from food until dinner mostly. Sister Nancy is back in town and they are having a business dinner I’m invited to. Probably a buffet with meat and veggies, so I should be OK, Today I did great on carbs although I went over on calories. Moved quite a bit of water so hoping for good numbers in the morning. (But a pre-bed weigh in of exactly 218.0 for the second day in a row does not bode well). Walked 4.2 miles today.

I'm always on a roller coaster of weight, so just use a average :-) . Then when I go heavy I just don't eat much !!!

It's kind of fun experimenting. :) Looking back in my food diaries, I noticed that long grain rice, combined with beans of some sort don't seem to spike water retention/weight, so I had 2 meals of them yesterday. I'm up a little today, but that may be more due to the BBQ sauce from my trip back from Florida than the rice and beans. We live, we learn. Good luck with all the biz functions this week!

At least you're paying attention. All that eating out would really sneak up on you without your awareness. Keep on keeping on it.

april761 : You could use Lakanto Monkfruit, liquid Stevia is better then the powdered ones; and there is "Just like Sugar", I haven't used that one yet, but Maria Emmerich is using it in her recipes.
