I am a certified health and wellness coach, but that doesn't mean much of anything if I don't make healthy choices everyday :-) Tracking my calories helps keep me honest and balanced in my habits surrounding food and alcohol. I don't subscribe to a specific diet type-I still eat carbs, fat and sugar but all in moderation. I do try to avoid processed foods and eliminated hard alcohol in the past year. I still enjoy beer regularly, but not to excess. My husband and I are dedicated runners, currently training for a half-marathon. Overall-I LOVE food and LOVE to cook and enjoy meals with my family. We eat really well-so portion size is a priority.
