Woke at 230.2, up .6 from yesterday. Going to eat about 1300 calories today. Will do a large omelet in the morning and then a moderate dinner later. That will set me up for a fasting Friday and get me back on my calorie goal. UPDATE: Got to 228.8 before dinner. Went over calories by adding a tablespoon of olive oil to a spinach salad. Fasting Friday tomorrow. UPDATE: Checked blood glucose two hours after eating and was at 96. This week's glucose monitoring tells me that post-prandial glucose spikes are not my problem. Going to do high protein, moderate fat, low carb for the rest of the month.
