Photography inspired by jheeden's breakfasts! :) I am so grateful to be able to have nice weather and work in my yard while under the stay at home order. It helps so much to keep active while the gym is closed. Digging, weeding, hauling, mowing, planting, pruning... I'm grateful for it all. This lilac was just a stump when we moved in six years ago. Having no idea what it was, I tried to dig it up. I gave up, and the next summer it was a reasonable looking bush. Even then I didn't know what it was! The funny thing is that I really wanted a lilac tree. I had always wanted one since I was a kid, and now I finally had my own house! Yet, life was full, and I had no time to think of planting a tree. Three years after I tried to dig up that pesky stump, the bush it had become bloomed! It is now a most lovely, beautiful, about fifteen foot tall bouquet!
