Blood sugar 84 mg/dL

I had to spend 9 hours in the car :( But, yesterday was my last 🏝️ 'Traveling Day' for the Year!

👍🏾 I didn't eat Mc Donald's or any fast food or pizza or normal cookies or chips
👎🏾 I did eat way too many 'low carb' bars and beef jerky and beef sticks and 'low carb' cookies

Interesting that my blood glucose this morning is relatively low considering my carbs and protein were off-the-map. I honestly do no know what this means for dropping these unwanted pounds, but from my past experience, weight loss does NOT happen when it is 100+ However, the opposite is not necessarily true...

Anyway, Today is the 🏋🏾 gym and OMAD. Starting Monday I am back to my normal 5 day no 'solid food' fast.

most likely just water weight and you will burn this off in a heartbeat if you don't go crazy today with your carbs. that is the nice thing about low carb it drops quickly with some adjustments like your fasting

@baskington - Yes, after all these months I trust my WOE (Way Of Eating) so Monday morning it is 'back to normal' and any 'water weight' will eventually go away :) So, I just need to be happy that I DO have a WOE that works for me :) Enjoy your Ribeye steaks this week!

had my last one today, got to suffer with the tbones until I get to sam's club. they will be a mad house today, not dealing with it

Congratulations on getting through that! Why does riding in the car for long distances make us eat! No fast food is an outstanding success. Amazing blood sugar!

Travel is hard— sometimes you just end up eating the things that are the least objectionable— especially if you are passing through small town USA.

Yippee to no more traveling (unless for fun of course!) - way to go not stopping for fast food on your trip - that shows tons of willpower! Enjoy today!!

@nikeit - Willpower? Me? Haha I have none! The OMAD planned for the day may not even happen. 6 hours to go before dinner... :)

then go do something you don't need to ruin your day by bingeing, go for a run take a shower go by some new shirts to fit the new you. find something to do with yourself. I like to stretch or do some other form of exercise, it tends to dull my appetite for a while
