Vacation!

So yeah I gained 11 pounds in only 3 days of out of control eating. Most of it is 'water' but not *all* of it. How did this happen on only a 1500 calorie 'excess'? You only need to look at the carbs (and protein!). To lose this weight, I will will reduce the carbs (and protein!).

I was so worried about passing my 180lbs 'boundry'. Ok blew past that so no need to 'worry' about that anymore :)

However, I-am-tired-of-being-stuffed.

Today I woke up, had 4 cups of coffee and a 5 hour energy drink and worked out in the gym for an hour. I finally feel 'good' physically (and mentally!).

I am sooo happy this resort has the equipment to allow me to do my squats and deadlifts with full-maxed-weight. *NO* resort or hotel I have been to in the States has even a weight 'bar', neverless even dummbells above 90lbs. This place has a honest-to-God-Hex-deadlift-bar! Need to see if you can break 230lbs? No problem :)

I plan to fast until tonight and then eat super low carb (meat and cheese only). The key for me is to not have any solid food until dinner...

When I get home I will go back to my normal diet and I will drop this weight, however, there is a 50/50 chance I 'could' get up to 190lbs by the time I get home.

Oh well...

@Keilin_4 - Thank you for the support! I am basically treating this time as a 'bulk'. I plan to hit-the-weights-hard. That is why I am soooo glad this place allows me to do a 'true-weight-workout :) I am *very blessed* right now :) - - As far as the weight, yeah I hoped I wouldn't gain THAT fast (sigh), but it is what it is... But, I am **still blessed** 😁😊

@Keilin_4 - Yeah a beach run would really burn some calories, but, I 'struggled' with "Do I do any cardio?". So far I decided to not do any cardio and only lift hard and heavy. The reason is that I will be doing *massive cardio* when I get back. I probably wont ever have a time where I let myself eat as much as I plan to eat.

And well, you are on vacation, you should not use all your time on running and gym, right?

@Miraculum - I am in Jamaica :) Yeah no worries, the weight will come off when I get-back-to-the-diet :) - - @Keilin_4 - Haha don't worry. I'm off to the beach now... just no running...

Ahhhhh beautiful Jamaica! Greet all my family for me!! LOL! Eat the food. They have the best of everything imo. Love that island more than any place on earth. 👙😎👒🐠🦎🦂🦋🌴🌺☀️🥭🥥

You need to cut back on the large Gatorade bottles...5 of them are close to 11lbs!! Haha 😆

Happy Vacation to you. I've heard of many who drop significantly in weight by spending time under the sun. I use it as a tool, and lay under hot sun right now. Get a plastic bucket and showel, and be a kid on the beach again 😜 Enjoy.

Wow— 11 lb would be roughly 5 quarts of water.

We have a great ability to store extra water. A couple vacations ago I gained 18 pounds in 3 days. Boxers can lose and regain 20+ pounds over night.

You have a lot of thought distortions in your post. I would encourage you to try out Noom which is based on psychology and facts to help you reach your final goal.

lol My hubby just retired the end of March, and I too blew up by 11 pounds in only two weeks. But it's not only all gone now, I've dropped another 2 pounds on top of it, and didn't have to do anything drastic, just got back on the plan! So you've got this, enjoy your vacay!

I gained 8lbs in 7days on my vacation last year from all the eating and barely any sun down in Disney. Only reason I didn’t gain more was the walking. When you introduce an excess surplus to your body it WILL retain a lot of water quickly. My upper body felt very puffy. Very normal. Just get back into your normal groove. I wouldn’t make any drastic immediate changes. 2 years ago when I went to Orlando I did about 30min of cardio 10/14 days. That helped me out a lot
