Morning. So weird my scale has shown the exact same 111.4 for 6 days in a row. What is up with that? I had to pick something up today and weigh with that to see if it was stuck. But it was not stuck.
Oscar weekend and I have not seen 1917 nor Joker. Hopefully I can get husband out for a movie date tomorrow.
Off to a bit of walk before morning yoga today. Plan on making mushroom soup today. Have a good one everyone!

I❤️ the joker movie! One of my favorites ever. Very dark. Not a feel good type of movie, which you probably gathered. The acting was outstanding. I❤️Joaquin Phoenix!

I’ve thought my scale was stuck too lately! Then i get on there with an arm load of hair products and nope, it moves! 😂 I LOVED the Joker! I love Joaquin Phoenix, and I love dark movies! Hope your hubby takes you to see it! And eat some popcorn for me!! 🍿

jcmama777 —I went to see 1917 and we left after about 45 min. The part we saw was plotless and pointless. I really have an interest in WWI so I was really looking forward to it. It would be hard to believe that “suddenly” it got better that far into the movie.

I think if you did not see the point after 45 minutes Kenna you might as well leave. Me and my husband were thinking a lot about his great grandfather who joined the Western Front in 1917 and felt that the movie made us see some of the thing he would have seen. i also saw Joker this weekend. I loved it as well

Liv001– I have seen several great documentaries about WWI — it was very brutal. If you would be interested in a movie type program try seeing WAR HORSE, if you haven’t already, it was good. The other thing you might do is Google ARCHAEOLOGY of the WESTERN FRONt. For many years they did not even know how extensive the western front was. They are still excavating the front lines.

Different tastes probably. I know the history so there were many details in the movie that I appreciated. I thought for me it really brought out the horror of the war without being overly sentimental. I think most people in the theatre were crying when it ended.

I get your point about the plot. But that is sort of the point... there was no plot in the war... just meaningless action with horrible outcomes
