This is my second week of feeling really on track with diet and exercise! The scale bounces around, but when I know I am doing well I am not really concerned. I feel pretty good. Keeping right around 1500 cals and managing to hit a pretty high protein percentage... For me... Is where I don't feel deprived. I'm not in a rush, and I know I'll be swapping out a little fat for a little muscle these days with faithful lifting. I've a kids' birthday this week and I am spending a couple days with a good friend at her vacation home to celebrate her birthday. I'm sure there will be some special treats and meals, so it likely won't be a week to lose weight. I will make it a goal not to gain! 😁 She is my buddy with whom I frequently go on ten mile walks, so we will be active, but the meals will be a little extra enjoyable!

I really need to catch up with you! It's still been a bit hectic here. Lots of phone calls with my family and trying to spend quality time with Mr Bear. I want to look at every one of your vacation pics, as I missed alot toward the end. Just want to say thank you for praying for us! Hope you're family is doing well. You sound good!!! 😘

Enjoy! Special times with family and friends are always so special. Before and after events are the times to be more careful and cut back. Not suggesting any binges. Moderation is always the key. Of course, you've got all that down pat! Just wanted to clarify myself. 😊

You have had a wild, hard time.... Don't worry about keeping track of us here! We are all just plugging away! 😁 ❤️

Kattay! I absolutely agree. If this was a "diet" we were on in a frantic attempt to get rid of pounds no matter what, then I could see skipping having special, higher calorie times. We are doing this for life... And we are "living" as we go! 😁 Balance makes our WOE sustainable!

Awww, Princess! ❤️ I'm feeling pretty good and stuff fits, so I'm just taking my time slowly trying to drop some to get back to "blue." Most importantly, I'm feeling reasonably in control and am recording everything.... Makes me feel so much better! I've just got to keep with it!! 😁

I'm so with you on the clothes fitting. I'm happier when I get to shop in another area of my closet! Way better than a number on the scale!

Ettenauj, thank you! Not sure it is too much muscle yet, but it isn't fat considering the calories! 😁 Daily fluctuations are... So daily! 😁

I agree, SLYONE! I got rid of all my clothes that I shrunk out of and couldnt alter a couple years ago now, but I do have a pair of jeans that are my smallest... They don't let me get away with much. I'm wearing them today. 😁 They could be a touch more comfy for sure! 😂

Jen, you are so kind! ❤️ Thank you! I'll get down to "blue" again sometime, but I'm trying not to stress and make myself miserable... Just taking a step at a time! Thankfully, I'm pretty tall, so the pounds over "goal" are sort of spread out. Those darn thighs though... They love to accumulate the most. 😁
