I am enjoying a final, massive bouquet provided by my hydrangea bushes. One photo could not show just how much I am enjoying it! I will have a few little ones going forward, but the heat has touched my beautiful blooms. Sunday means game night for the youths of my house, so the temptations to go over my calories today will be significant yet again. I have done little more than maintain this week, so I can not afford to blow it tonight. My daughter is sick with pain, so she has spent the last couple days in bed (which happens to be a mat behind a couch in the living room since she gave her room to the two new girls staying with us). It hurts my heart so much to see her in such misery. She will barely eat and the pressures of life mount and overwhelm while she waits for her body to calm down and the blinding headache, joint pain, and dizziness to become manageable. She has been offered other places and beds, but she says she is as comfortable there as anywhere and doesn't want to move. She will today, for it will be too loud in the kitchen with a gang of noisy people. She has been doing so well the last couple weeks, but this is a rough bout. I can stay home with her today. The rest of the family tries to help out when I am gone, but they aren’t mom. I am so thankful for the sun! Many don’t love the heat we are having, but I have told a few people that the sweat is just all of us thawing from an endless winter. I have been so cold and tired of the gloom, so I can not complain about it being a touch warm. Have a blessed Sunday!

Oh, friends, I want to give an update and thanks to God and to all of you who have been praying with me today. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️I don't have time to reply to you all, but a couple hours ago my daughter began improving. She was able to sit up without feeling she would fall, her stabbing head pain started to ease. After about an hour she was able to stand and then walk. Now she is almost herself again. This episode is over! Although still not perfectly well she looks ever so much better!!!! She text me that she had not fallen when there was a crash in the shower. The spraying head did... Not her. 🙏 Her joint pain has eased a lot, and she is currently walking around the house talking and teasing with our new girls who are staying with us

For those who don't know, she sustained a terrible head injury five years ago. Although her cognitive abilities are amazing and she suffered no brain damage that would be obvious to others (although concentration suffers when studying). She lives with pain every day of her life. Her head never stops hurting and the associated pain syndrome that has developed is absolutely debilitating at times. This was not even a particularly bad few days compared to past troubles because she has found some solutions that make a huge difference. However, her recovery being so fast today was so great. Such a powerful blessing! Thank you for your prayers and support!

Thank you all for your kind words, enjoying my flowers with me, and for all of your prayers!!! I am blessed beyond measure by your support and care! Although I love my roses, at the moment, I am utterly smitten by my hydrangeas. They are growing up so nicely! My daughter has continued to improve all day, and although very tired she is going on a little walk now with our guest girls. Movement is good and it will help her relax and rest better when she lays down to sleep again. It is hard to believe that this morning she could barely stand. Nutrition helped too. She can't eat when in so much pain, and she had gone without too long. My heart is light seeing that at least now... This night she is feeling so much better!
