Diario de Redporchlady, 26 may. 23

Diana & YOH - I did the carb cycle yesterday and did not hit my RDI but had 160 grams of protein which is 40 grams over my normal protein intake. I did not hit 30 grams of carbs and came in at 40 grams but actually felt good with the food choices. Down a little but I am at goal and basically figure a few pounds any direction is ok and I don't bother to record normally. I am working on increasing my total Calories in though now that I have been in maintenance for 2 years.

I had never tried it before but I love my fruit and so back at it today with my carbs. I have to eat a banana before workout as I need the energy and also I cramp easy so staying hydrated and having potassium is a must for me. I found it amazing that I ate 160 Grams of protein though. I remember when I started strength training and I had to start eating 120 grams of protein. It took me awhile and now it is built in my daily routine.

@Diana & YOH - it was actually easier than I thought! I only lost a pound but I am in my goal area so I think that was good it gave me the push to see 130. Next time I need to be prepared with more options for veggies!
