I also deal with fatigue issues with my autoimmune disease MS. Because it was causing to be unable activities in my life I asked for some medications to come back to the fatigue the medication that I take ismodafinil 100 MG it really helps me to be able do things after work. Before I just wasn't able to do anything beyond lay down after work but now I cook, help the kids, and do some cleaning each day. It's not typically prescribed for Ms so it's not covered by my insurance but using All rights meds a free prescription program I'm able to get it through my local pharmacy for 30 bucks a month which is affordable even for me. Apparently even where it's off brand for MS and other fatigue issues if you can prove it helps you for a couple months you can get your insurance to pay for it just a heads up according to my doctor. But ask your doctor if he or she thinks that it might help you with your chronic fatigue issues.

Took about four days or so to be active in my system but if you're not feeling a difference but then I would ask doctor to up you to the 200mg per day dosage. I'm just trying to keep meds down to the lowest amount possible when I'm able for as long as I'm able.

Leah , i remember now. It was great but i had to keep going back to the doc and it was too expensive to see the doc so i quit. Also had issues with sleep. I'm going to a dif doc next month. I'll ask again. Thanks

Check out GoodRx when you look for the prescription like I said it's knocked down the price from $250 per month to $30 at Meijer to as little as $8 at Walmart I just figured if I went to Walmart I'd spend way more than $8 walking in the door so for me it was much cheaper if I got it at Meijer because I've trained myself going to buy groceries at Meijer and if I went into Walmart I would purchase many more items. As for seeing the doctor after my original prescription I just text the doctor on the hospital website and had him represcribe the medicine as needed remotely without having to see him each month I'd say that you could do this as well when you need refills unless you need an appointment more often I typically want to see my neurologist once every 6 months unless I'm having a problem with some sort of issue or a flare up that needs addressing

Leah, lucky you. I pay cash for my doc. And they won't refill like that. Ce la vie
