I hate to say it, but it's that time of year to start getting clothes around for fall/winter.

We went through my clothes today and boy is Good Will going to get a lot.

Last year at this time, I was struggling to fit into my size 44 waste pants and starting to buy 3XL shirts.

Today, I walked out of Walmart with size 36 waste pants and L/XL (depending on brand) shirts. That's an 8" loss in my waste!!

I know what the scales have been telling me, but till I saw that today, my mind just wouldn't wrap around how much that actually was.

I still have larger size 38/40/42 shorts I'm wearing to work because I'm to much of a tight-wad to spend money on something I won't "need" till next spring, not to mention that they are still in pretty good shape and they belonged to my father that I lost last year to cancer.
They will go this year when I move into long pants for the winter season and I will do my best to never need pants that big again.
