I'm sure this isn't just a Texas thang - I'm amazed by the full menu's being served at movies these days.

Of course, I'm an old timer - back in the day the Granada on Greenville Ave in Dallas - so.Darn.Cool. Real tables, not rows of chairs. Real pizza & nachos. Smoking in the balcony (yeah ... LONG time ago). Pitchers of beer. It was GREAT. Miss those. Good times.

I love popcorn, but only with butter and an adequate amount of salt. I pop mine in a stove top popper, add the butter and salt, and it is better than theater popcorn. It's a great treat for occasional special football games!

Oh my Bells. Off topic here. Good grief. Just read a news article about a criminal in my area from Texas, being held as he is seeking refugee status. Apparently has been living in a tent near my neighborhood! 😱😱😱😱 Very usual, I don’t live in no hood! 😮😮😮

Handfuls. Or stick my tongue into the bowl BC my arms are too short ... 🦖 I can handle no butter but prefer butter on basically everything so, yeah y’all are my people.

I like popcorn without the butter, just with salt. Small handfuls for me, one at a time when I remember to eat mindfully.
Becca, I love your choice according to the movie! 😂

One at a time, always, with or without butter (without these days). My mom used to make sugared popcorn, the best!

Wow - Wifey - any updates? Do I need to make more popcorn?? I'd wondered where my brother in law went... All jokes aside, are you okay? Calming down?

ON the FS side of this post - it was ironic to me how many of the vendor booths at the senior expo were passing out popcorn. Some in small sealed bags like this (my preference with the OCD) and others fresh popped right there.

Which, I think, would be a total pain in the neck to haul around. Anyway - was it some cruel joke as many seniors are usually wearing dentures and popcorn is the enemy of dentures??

My other thought was - this small bag is a single serving. So that was interesting to think of those truck bed sized bags you can get when you go to the movies.

I typically only eat popcorn at the movies and I always get the biggest bag with LOTS of extra butter and eat it by the handful. I know... but I swear I dont do it often lol...

No shame in that. I HAVE been to movies and not bought popcorn but when I do I'm exactly the same.

I guess I'm just curious as to 'how' we learn to do that? I can't think of another single food that I will scoop up by the handfuls and shove into my mouth like that.

I HAVE turned a bag upside down & poured the 'chip dust' into my mouth... see, if you all compare yourselves to me you'll feel so much better about yourselves.
