Update: I have now gotten married and have two beautiful children :) For some reason being married caused me to gain weight, and then having two kids back to back really took a toll on my body. Now I am trying to work my way back into forming good eating habits. I figure it doesn't make sense for me to be eating things that I would not feed my children! Also trying to find my way back into the gym after a three year hiatus. Just a matter of finding the time.

Here we go!!!

Throughout my youth I was always chubby. I was called names like Big and Butterball, and people always teased me about my weight. They were still friendly towards me, but it hurt that they had to remind me that I was heavier than everyone else. Then in college I unconsciously made some lifestyle changes (ex: walking to class, drinking more water b/c it was free) and the weight just began to melt off! I was pleasantly surprised, and even began to encourage the weight loss by going on slim fast and working out every now and then. I have really slimmed down and even look somewhat toned.

So my story sounds great, right? Well, now I am afraid of gaining the weight back. I am afraid that if I eat just too much, or if I don't work out a certain number of days, the weight will come back. People who smiled upon me and were proud of my weightloss will comment that I have gained back some of the pudge. I will let myself down.

So that is why I am on here. Plus, I love to eat and I have never really learned portion control. So I am hoping that entering everything that goes into my mouth on this site will help me regulate that. I still work out pretty regularly, so my exercise habits are not what need to change.
